Hey GMC’ers
I believe most of us have our own favorite GMC lesson, which we love to play over and over again. And maybe you've played it so much by now that you even know it “insideout” So what about creating a GMC medley together? My idea is this; State your favorite lesson in this thread (I prefer if you post the link to it as well) and also what part of that lesson you want to play/like the most. Lets keep it at a minimum of 5 seconds – and maximum of 20 seconds. I will create a backing track with all these different parts of lessons/songs (I’ll try to “glue” them together in a nice way), and then you can record it and post your files here as usual Here’s the challenge: You may not have the luxury of playing in the original key, as you’re used to! Lets say for example that someone pick my vibrato lesson which is in A-minor, and then you pick Muris alternate picking 1 in B-minor, then I might ask you to play it in the key of A-minor, instead of B-minor (just to make the passages flow smoother) You don’t necessarily have to play it note by note as in the original lesson (and it don’t have to be at the original full speed). You are allowed to improvise, and even make your own arrangement to the backing track if you want Just let me know how you want it, and I'll do my best to adjust it for you I think this will be a lot of fun! Any ideas for the arrangement? Should I make it as in the original lesson? I think matching the tempos might be quite hard, but I am sure you can do it somehow Key changes are great and challenging and should absolutely be a part of this! -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
