Hey there!
Next year, I´m going to (try to ) pass my exam at school. After that I want to study music. I don´t know which direction I want to choose, but certainly something with guitar. I made some researches and I found this site: www.studymusicineurope.org from which I found the site of Warsaw´s university: www.chopin.edu.pl/angielskie. My interest lies in studying in Poland since this is my home country. However, if there isn´t the right direction, I am ready to change my decision. I want to start a musical career. If this goes wrong, I still have the possibility to become a guitar teacher. What direction is best to make a living as a professional guitarist? What universities have good teachers? Thanks! Tolek |

First one I can think of is Berklee College of Music Correspondence school in Barcelona ! You can find that one at Berklee website or I will shoot you link later when I find all the contact info. I have couple of friends who graduated there , one of them is now in Kosovo, couple in Belgrade and others stayed in Spain - so I will ask them for more details about everything. The one in Graz is very well known and basically everybody from Serbia goes there as Tuition was (or still is) FREE for students from Serbia Stjepko Gut trumpet player is also teaching there in Jazz department (Serbian guy legendary trumpet player , Jazz of course:). I can talk to him and give you more info about it. My past bass player went there for a year and quit but he can give me insight more as he is in my town and I can see him soon The one in Germany (Berlin) and Holland (Amsterdam) are schools where my video lesson students attend now, and I prepared them via video lessons. So I can talk to them and find out how things are going. As far as I know , cheapest and most useful option would be Graz in Austria. If you have financial ability, going to Berklee correspondence in Barcelona would be awesome as you would go trough Berklee program there. I am not sure who is teaching guitar nor Jazz there - have to check it out. Thats it for now Tolek You are so kind, Pedja! I will have a look at those universities, especially Berklee and then I´ll let you know about my thoughts. Can you answer this question?: I never had electric guitar lessons, can I study electric guitar? Here's a whole list of categorized music schools by country Tolek, hope you find it useful man. http://wapedia.mobi/en/Category:Music_schools_in_Europe Here's one more: http://www2.siba.fi/Kulttuuripalvelut/inst...es.html#Austria Cool links, Ivan. Thanks a lot! |

If I may answer your question (I hope Pedja wont' mind), I think you can have electric guitar lessons, it only matters what level you sign up for. With your background I think you can sign up no problem IMO. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
