Nice experience Ben! I have gone to the sea at least once per year since I was born and the energy and sensation that you feel when you have all that immensity in front of you is fantastic.

This question might have been asked before but do you guys get to see the sea that much ? I saw it yesterday for the first time in.... well, a very long time. And I felt sand underneath my bare feet for the first time in many years ! It makes me wish I would spend more time by the sea at least once a week when I travel to S.F., Too cold to swim in though. Ugh. -------------------- The more I practice, the more I wish I had time to practice!

I live (and grew up) in Florida about 20-30 minutes from the coast. I do get to see it quite often and couldn't imagine not living near water.

We see it quite a few times a year.
We usually go to San Lucar or Puerto de Santa Maria near Cadiz on the Costa de la Luz here quite a few times a year. We have friends with a flat in San Lucar and they very kindly lets us use it for free. My wife and I keep talking about retiring to Puerto Santa Maria. Both towns have some lovely beaches that face N Africa - and on a clear day you can see the N African coastline. San Lucar also has a day when there are horse races on the beach. We also usually go to the beach at Bologna (Between Vejer and Tarifa) with my daughter's school for a long weekend camping in the Summer. Bologna is hidden away so is unspoilt; it has Roman ruins on the beach front. Oh and we go to Cadiz as well and Chipiona and so on... The Costa de la Luz is really nice as it's not over developed and is much more Spanish then the Marbela/Malaga coast line. Sometimes we also go for a few days to Nerja where my wife's brother has a holiday home. That however is on the Malaga coastline so it's a good place where we can practice our English. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer. I don't think you need to practice English, hahaha. You write English far better than most people from the States. -------------------- All the elders have fallen down...

Ben, Thailand is awesome. The beaches look like heaven. I never left this country before (I am/was too poor). In fact I never left this small town until I was 18, how sad is that? But in 2010 when things started to shape up a bit, I spent most of my savings to go on our '2nd' honeymoon, just to do something different and to remember. We actually went to 3 different countries for 2 weeks and Thailand indeed was the best. I couldn't stand the heat / humidity though. To further get the trip interesting, we went to a far off Island called Koh Samui and spent a full day going to an island to do some snorkeling. I never had done that so it was mind blowing. Getting to see fishes swim by you in the clear blue water (Pacific Ocean) was simply amazing. I really wished I had a water proof camera to store those moments. I know how to make people jealous!! Shhh... apologies for some skin show here. Looks fantastic, Chandra We see it quite a few times a year.
