Hey man, how does the PRS SE Soapbar feel? I never tried that one The one I have was discontnued - picked up one of the last of the new ones in the UK nearly 2 years ago for £330. Link below to the PRS page about it. Their pictures don't do it justice - but it is a difficult finish to capture. PRS SE Soapbar Closest I got to a decent picture of the finish on it:- Made in Korea. Very, very easy guitar to play. Nice light 7.5 lbs. The neck just seems to fit in the hand perfectly - PRS call it a wide fat neck, but it seems neither wide nor fat. Set up was very nice out of the box, intonation spot on with the bridge causing no issues (only height adjustabel at either end). The finish is beautiful - couldn't find a flaw or blemish or rough fret end etc. Beautifully balanced on the strap. The only flaw for me was the "hot" stock P90 pickups - after putting in Tonerider Alnico II Vintage P90s it became my "go to" guitar till teh Hagstrom got its SH55s installed. |

Man, this thread makes me feel like such a big noob I don't even know which pickups I have on my LP, they just came standard from the factory Check out your serial number and post it here - Gibson owners will direct you towards finding out what's what with your guitar just by knowing the serial number The one I have was discontnued - picked up one of the last of the new ones in the UK nearly 2 years ago for £330. I can see through the pic Don't worry - I think I got the same fat wide neck on the Paul Allender SE and indeed it fits so nice in the hand! |
