Yup! NEVE has released the 88m. It's a small, desktop interface with 2 xlr inputs and very few knobs/buttons and it costs $1,250.
So it does seem crazy expensive at first glance. However, it's not just a small 2 input, bus powered interface. It's a NEVE with top quality bits on the inside that make it sound far better than just about any other small interface you might find.
Better still, it supports inserts for it's channels allowing you to use external preamps if you like and beyond that it supports ADAT EXPANSION!!
This is not something you find on most small format interfaces. On a few yeah, just not most of them. It allows you to use ADAT/Light Pipe (optical cable) to attach another set of inputs. For example, you can take a 10 input interface and connect it to the NEVE using ADAT and now you've added 10 more channels to your audio interface!!
