Hey guys! I am currently working on the Aria EP, where we decided to include 2 acoustic versions for our songs. The orchestrations will include acoustic guitars, cello/ acoustic bass and percussion elements.

The structures are virtually the same, but the orchestration elements are almost completely different! This thing which makes me very happy smile.gif it's like the song is wearing a new set of clothes actually tongue.gif

We have used arpeggio based melodies, strummed chords and a lot of open string ideas until now - which brings me to the following question: have you ever tried to transform an electric version of a song (personal composition or cover) into an acoustic version? If yes, what was your approach on this matter and what did you use? Better yet, the ones who have recorded material are most welcome to post it in this thread biggrin.gif

I'll shoot us working on our song 'Meta' in the studio this weekend and post some little snippets so that you may catch an idea or two out of what we have used, compared to the electric version you can listen to on our website or FB page.
