I received a PRS Mira guitar for the first time and wow she’s amazing!! I love how the body and shape of this guitar and especially love the coil tap ability. There is only one tiny issue with it, the pickups are way to sharp and I want more of a muddy sound sort of like a Les Paul. So here is the question, is it possible to pull out the pickups from my Mira and replace them with other hum bucking pick ups that would give it that muddy sound? Or could the pick ups be messed with a professional to produce that muddy sound? These are all the questions that run through my head because I really do not want to get rid of this guitar body.

You're so lucky!
I think it's a mistake to remove the pickups. Imo a guitar should sound sharp, it's easier to hide mistakes and bad playing behind a muddy sound but that's not the idea really. In a band I think a muddy sound gets eaten by the bass and bass drum. A sharper sound cuts. Havyou tried to use the tone control? I never played a PRS but to my understanding the tone knob on it does wonders to the sound. Or turn the EQ towards more bass and mids and less treble and presence. -------------------- My bands homepage

This is one hell of a guitar. But IMO you are only going to degrade the tone quality of this precision made instrument when putting darker pups. You should think before you bought about a bright tone. Now, I recommend only to play with it for some time and see how it fits to you - maybe you will get used to it. And in 6-7 months if it doesn't work out, then change the pups, but better put some quality ones.
