Such programs in my experience (with drums lets say) are good if something non-specific while composing but if the sound is playing in your head they can really become a torture finding patterns and adjusting them to sound the way you want.

I dig most of the Native Instruments stuff smile.gif Very fun to mess with. Something like this I"d probably use my midi guitar but it's very handy for folks without accoustic guitars or midi guitars.
