> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Better sound quality, I think ;-) @Monica: this take was done before I read your feedback.

Hi again Gert!

I will just grade this take because the main mistakes are still there and you have my feedback in your previous attempt.

Be careful at the strumming part. Even if you keep the timing, there are too many notes that can't be heard. Play with more intention. At this moment, you pick the strings too delicate. Add a little force when you do the strumming.

Unfortunately, I will give you a 5 for this take.

Keep on practicing!

Lean into it a bit more on the picking hand. A bit more pressure can create a more dynamic sound. You want to be able to move between more and less pick pressure depending on what your playing. For rock stuff, a stronger hand can be very important.

I won't repeat the bits that have already been said. Monica giving great feedback as always. 6 from me. Looking forward to the next one!

Very nice!

There is yet some finesse to be added in terms of cleanly fingering the chords and relaxing your right hand attack.

But overall - you nail the concept of the lessons.

Well done it's an 8 from me!
