Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Gert!
This take shows your awesome progress and I want to congratulate you on this. I know how much you worked on this lesson and I'm very happy with the result. One thing I want to tell you before starting with the feedback. When we work on your future lessons, please, before the REC, post a take at full speed in the practice room to make the last adjustments together. Mostly because each speed requires you to apply things in a different way. As an example, in your take, your pick is a little too angled and, because of that, we have too much amount of pick noise and less amount of tone. We always need to keep a balance. You still need to add a little more attention to your right hand because there are moments ( as for example: 0:11), where almost entered the pinch harmonics. Overall, you keep a very good timing. You have just tiny spots where you hurry some notes. The thumb joint movement is what makes you build speed much faster but once you get used to this technique, you always need to maintain a high focus on your right hand to control the speed. Otherwise, your right hand will play faster than your left hand can. The long slides sound good, besides the one from 0:16 where you touch a wrong note. But...I like the fact that you remediated the issue without losing the timing. We are humans and sometimes we make mistakes, but it's important to continue playing like nothing happened and play the rest of the song better than ever. You succeeded in doing this. Now is the time to give you the next task. It will not be an easy one. I think you are at the point where the best move for your development is to start learning the bending technique (it will be much easier to attack the vibrato technique after you manage the bends). The lesson that I chose for you is really awesome because it doesn't combine the bending with vibrato and, in this way, your attention will not be split. Also, the fact that at the beginning of the bends you will have a reference note, it's a great help to reach the correct pitch. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginn...ending-Workout/ Tips - Listen very carefully to the spoken video (vid no 1) and apply all the advice. Also, learn and use the same picking direction and the same fingering (it's very important to copy the same fingering). I know with one more week of practice you could have received a very high grade from me, but I'm always fair and for today you get an 8 from me. Congrats on your recording and for all your amazing work that you put in. I'm very proud of you! I'm sure you will become an awesome player.
