Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

This is my first video for the Rec program. The video was originally a lot clearer then that but the quality change when I exported the video in Youtube.

The gear I used: Fender Stratocaster American Standard, GuitarPort (PodFarm)

The audio was recorded with Garage Band an I used Final Cut Express to sync the video and the audio.

The original lesson is here: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...nner-solo-in-d/

Your problem is also bends and vibratos. Try to do bendings to be more precise, because sounds out of tune.
I guess, your vibratos are too fast, vibrato meanwhile however try to hold the note because it will be also out of tune.
By the way this is a good first take in the Rec program! smile.gif

Vibrato and bends, yeah, more work there and you'll get a lot.
Timing was very nice tho, almost perfect, you went a bit ahead at the last tapping section.
Fix bends intonation and quality of vibrato, good job, very disciplined take. smile.gif

Congrats for your first Rec video! smile.gif The overall is ok and very close to the original lesson. It's clear that you learnt every note perfectl. However I think that you that you should work a little more some things. First of all you bend's intonation. You have to pay attention on reaching the correct pitch when you bend a note. You should also work your vibrato quality. As Lazlo said, you do a fast movement and it doesn't sound natural. In a second level I think that you should work a little more the open string's pull off lick and the sweep. I hope that this helps! Keep on rocking!

As everyone said before, you have to work more on your vibrato (you have to relax the hand and let the wrist do it's job) and your bendings. Also, your timing is a bit off, but, with a little work, is all perfectly correctable.

Vibrato needs to be from the wrist not from the fingers. And it also needs to be consistent. Your vibrato sounds too nervous. The rest was pretty much ok. Be caferuf when you bend to execute the right note. Sometimes you nearly go out of tune. Not bad at all but it can be improved.
