Hey guys,

I once had recorded a piece of singing, and it had quit some buzzing in it, just a bad mic. But then someone (I believe it was Nemanja) EQed it and got rid of the buz quit far. How do you do that? I tried but no result. I need it because if the mic setting is just a bit high, you can hear the buzz through a rhythm part and backingtrack tongue.gif

Try lowering different frequencys and see what works. I think in the recording lesson there's something with a list of what frequencies certain unwanted sounds are.

One way - sorry I'm in a rush so haven't time to explain properly - is sweep the eq to see what frequency is causing the issue then attenuate it. Usually it sits up on the spectrum to produce a pronounced peak - or audibly the same.

That's about easiest way to do it Kaznie, open EQ, pick a dot, and with it, sweep the spectrum in search for that buzz. (you will notice it disappears when you sweep across it's range. Then you can make a very narrow bandwith cutoff to cut only the specific frequency off.

The other way is to UL the portion of the buzz so I can identify exactly what is the problematic frequency.

It could be a problem with the maze. If your connections are not properly you have a buzzing about 50hz it could be that. This problem you can solve it by making some ground connection in your electrical instalation.
I hope it was usefull.
