small_town_no_one_new_i_lived_in.mp3 ( 2.82MB ) Number of downloads: 150 well i thought i might just upload a few acoustic tunes from last year....when i started to build up my home studio a bit.................still was lacking a realy good set of drum mics.......and my drum booth was not up to par like it is now..............but i played drums bass and guitar and did the vocals............I didnt solo back then just kind of liked angry folk rock.....so jumping back on electric guitar was a bit of a chalange.. kind of a tribute to ani diffranco for the insperation and style i love of hers........so i sent a copy of the cd to her home base in new york............maybee it got listen to maybee not but it took alot of courage to send it lol ..... would love to hear some feeback on it -------------------- [size=3][b]

Nice stuff, although the songs are very similar. In the first song, drums are distant, laking bass and cold, and in the other littler bit warmer but dry (for my taste), and lack of punch and space. THe acoustic is deacent, roughly the same in both, but the vocals needs to be way better and louder. Maybe get some pro mics for vocals and do some backings too. Other than that its good

That sounded great, just work on the recording and mixing issues that Ivan mentioned, and you should be fine!
