Hi, Luciana.
In your lessons there is usually a reminder that man should do it one octave below your voice. When I go for the backing track and do it myself, it seems fine. But if I go in the main video and try to sing along with you, I automatically try to copy your pitch and it goes really bad... Is there any tip to be able to sing without copying what you are hearing? I think this is pretty much need when singing with backing vocals, choir or duets, right? Hi, thanks for the reply.
That was exactly what was happening. When singing alone I was on comfortable range, but when singing along with the lesson I tried automatically to move one octave higher I was practicing with the computer audio in headphones, so probably in this case was hearing more the lesson than my own voice... I will try with speakers in low volume and see if I can do it. I will let yo know of the progress
