Hi Rusty,
Generally on GMC we are using to different device to record something. What most people do is have the camera and a recording software. They record these two device separetely and they sync them together after with a video editing software. You can use any type of camera for recording the video part. After there is a a bunch of software to record the audio. If you own a Mac computer you can use a software like Garage Band and if you own a PC you can use a software like Sony Vegas. Go see this lesson, it will probably introduce you well to the world of recording https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/misc-less...rial-273641234/ Good Luck with your recording I also fin this source on the wiki page. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/wiki/inde..._a_video_Lesson |

You will need some budget for recording, and you need several important things:
- Camera (You can go for Logitech Pro 9000 webcam, but ideally you should get a miniDV camcoder, possibly with a FireWire interface) - Audio Interface (the cheapest option that will do the job is POD Studio GX, and if you plan to record gutiar + vocals as well, go for POD Studio UX1) - Lightning (cheapest lights are halogen lights, same what Gab uses for lights 3 and 4 in his light setup, in the GMC video tutorial) -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
