Hi Gabriel,

I really like your videos, especially your Stonerrock lessons. As I watched them I had no idea what Stonerrock is, but it sounded cool and so I started to listen to all great SR bands like Kyuss, Karma to Burn, clutch...
Its such a great mix between some Rsychedelic Rock and hard riffs used in Heavy Metal.

I wonder how you and these bands come up with such nice riffs and compositions. Are there some some scales which are often used in ST?

It would be very nice, when you could give me some advices for creating my own Stonerrock songs.

best regards,
Skalde

Hi Skalde! It's nice to read that you know this style and liked it thanks to my lessons. smile.gif Thanks! The sound and the style of riffs are the most important thing in this style of music. The sound and riffs are fat and slow. The best way to incorporat this is to learn many songs, nainly from the first Black Sabath albums and Kyuss. Learn the songs. The music theory is simple, they use mostly minor scales and minor modes.

gabriel.-
