Hello Gab

I worked every day on this lesson, I hope that you will see a little progress.
I decided to stop this lesson, it is magnificent but I want to pass has something else.
I know that there are sections which ask for more precision, but maybe in a few years I would do better

I present this one to REC Section if you feel it good

Hi mate,

You’ve done a great job with this one. It’s not an easy lesson and your playing is consistent along the whole thing. There are some things to fix mostly related to things that we’ve already talked in previous lessons and that are realated to feel , groove, dynamics. I know that you have these things in mind and that you are working on them. Just keep focusing on these elements on future lessons.

This take will surely pass on rec, go for it.

Hi Gab,

This morning I hear defaults that I didn't hear yesterday
My Guitar seems be bad tuned, also several sequences need more precision,

I'm not very satisfied of my work –
Every day I work with a rythm Loop - It's hard to reproduce this gimmick
I continue my work but I think this lesson will give me indigestion
I don't want to feel this lesson like a failure

Also, I work this lesson : "Peter Green Style" it's great piece smile.gif

Routine cover 2018 : Lagrange/Zztop - Sweet Home Alabama/Lynyrd Skynyrd

Hi mate, don't feel bad about your playing. You are doing a great job at GMC, and I can see how your guitar playing is getting better and better. I know that your mind will do some kind of click soon and you'll be able to master these things that we've been marking. Just keep on practising, and enjoy the process.

Hi MisterM!

That's a very good take of the Funky Satch lesson! Except by small details in the first rhythm, the other parts are sounding really good. Your progress is very impressive, congrats mate!

The other lesson still needs practice but it's not far at all. The tone lacks some prescence, it's a bit "dead", I would add more treble or filter some low frecuencies.

Hi Gab,

I don't understand my problem about the 1rst rhythm section, there is always a dessynchronisation.
I listen to, I play slowly without any improvements.

I tried to record at the same time that Piotr
The timing is better, 2 tracks seem synchronized.
So when I remove the Piotr's track, mine is horrible

I go in Morocco 12 days, I can't take my guitar,
Maybe a break without music will be good for me.
When I'll be back I hope that I shall understand this sequence to finalize this lesson

Also, I like very much your lesson: Post Hardcore II Escape the fate
I began to work above, I hope that it will not give me of problems.

See you later

Hi mate, thanks for the update.

Your take on the intro for that lesson is not far! It's getting close. It's lacking some groove feel. It's more a "feeling" thing that you need to understand. I recommend you to close your eyes, and follow the groove with your head, let your hand "dance" up and down with the groove.
Experiment doing more subdivisions of the rhythm moving your hand up and down in 16th notes.

A rest from music can be very good!

Hi MisterM! Welcome back!

The new video sounds great. I like the tone, and the overall feel of your performance. It has some kind of relaxed vibe that was lacking on the previous take. This new one is top level, I don't find any issue to fix. It's great! Congrats!!

Thank you Gab

I think I'll make a new video for REC section next week.

I built a melody on BT James Brown Style - It's a challenge for french forum
It's not perfect, several sections need a better precision.

I posted online like this - My friends liked, their comments affcted me

Hi mate!

This is very good! As I've said previously, your tone, feeling, and overall playing are very enjoyable when you play this lesson. The only issue that I find here are there is related to timing. There are some parts of some phrases that are a bit "hurried", mostly when legato or sweep is involved. Try to identify these parts and work on them.

Besides that, this is great. I'll grade your take at REC.

Keep on the hard work!

Hi Gab

I understood the instructor's advices about my blues
I'll try to improve it

I work sweep picking 7Th lesson since some week
As mhskeide at REC Section, I try to play like original lesson 120 Bpm

It's difficult to relax my left hand, I explain
(IV)CM7, (I)GM7 arpeggios need to" break" index articulation
(V)D7 arpeggio position nedd to "break" ring finger articulation.
I work low BPM, I can't break my articulation because my fingers have no flexibility

Old Take May 2016

New Take March 2018

Hi MisterM! This is going really good. I can see how your hands are more comfortable and the overall thing sounds much smoother than your previous video. You are doing a good job with this, it's just a matter of time until you'll master it. I don't notice any technique issues, everything looks good from here.

Keep on the good job!
