Hey man! Thanks for kind words m8!
Comfortable speed is easily judged by the number of mistakes you do while playing. If you can play at 100 triplets with no mistakes than it's your comfortable speed. If you go to 110 triplets, and see you are doing mistakes and can't keep right hand together with left hand that would be your limit until you get over it with practice So if you can play something nice and clean more than twice, than you can say it's your comfortable speed I guess it's something like that. As for JEM - yeah, it's worth saving for JEM7 as it is much better than JEM555 quality wise. I saw a website of one JEM owner which compared his JEM555 and JEM7 after 1 year of playing each of the guitar. The JEM555 got worn off pretty fast while JEM7 kept it's "shape", frets, bridge and sound quality. If you still plan to buy JEM555 than i would suggest you to go for some RG Prestige model instead. RG2550E would make a far better choice than JEM555. If you want a JEM badly than make sure you get a JEM7 -------------------- "It isn't how many years you have been playing, it's how many hours." -- Prashant Aswani "PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!" -- Michael Angelo Batio Check out my video lessons and instructor board! |

We should seriously be looking for an endorsement from Ibanez Definitely - although on second thoughts, you should get a Pavel Special signature guitar, and I'll write some theory to go on a panel on the back -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

Definitely - although on second thoughts, you should get a Pavel Special signature guitar, and I'll write some theory to go on a panel on the back Amazing! "Hey Pavel, how do you know which progression to play while soloing with sweeps?" - "I don't! See, i have this little theory reminder on the back of my axe - really helps!" -------------------- "It isn't how many years you have been playing, it's how many hours." -- Prashant Aswani "PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!" -- Michael Angelo Batio Check out my video lessons and instructor board! |
