Hello Gerardo I have just join after more then a year I first joined the site. I saw your lessons. I am a fan of Jobim and Joao Gilberto. Can you suggest me the lessons to start with to play great Bossa? Also, I have to change the strings at my Variax classical guitar, it seems not so easy unlike electric guitar, is there any video on how to change them? Regards Carmine Hi Carmine. You can check this two lessons: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/bossa_...amba_rhythms_1/ https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/bossa_...amba_rhythms_2/ Thet cover several rhythm patterns using common bossa shape. The actual chord progressions for those lessons is the first phrase of Corcovado. You can try to feel confortable with each one till you can improvise mixing. Then grab some song and plan how are you going to distribute the rhythms you know, playing randon rhythm patterns is ok for practice but it isnt good for playing songs, also remember that you are comping some other lead instument/vocals so stay with the more solid patterns adding somo spicy variations carefully. |

Gerardo thanks for your answer. On another matter, will be you doing more Pink Floyd lessons in the future? Carmine |
