Hi guys!
Ive had the shock of a life time, my father is buying me a Tube Amp I have been looking around and im considering the Vox AC15 - CC1 because it looks the best tube amp for the price ( i cant go over that budget) http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/options.php?id=69345 I looking for that warm rich rock/blusey tube tone like on bucketheads Eletric Tears album, and/or in classic rock. Can anyone tell me if this is a good buy, or recommend something else? thanks edit** or maybe the Laney? http://www.imuso.co.uk/ProductDetail.asp?StockCode=EG00086 This post has been edited by mattacuk: Sep 2 2007, 09:37 PM -------------------- mysql> SELECT * FROM master_name WHERE ((firstname = 'Paul') AND (lastname = 'Gilbert'));
"The Fundimental Difference between Paul Gilbert and Buckethead is that Paul Explores the Good side of the force, while Buckethead Explores the Dark Side of the Force" :) |

I have not heard either so I can't steer you in a particular direction but tube is definitely the way to go. I do know that Tony Iommi from Sabbath is into Laney though and they sound great live. |
