When alternate picking what part of the right arm do you put over the guitar? I used to put my wrist over the bridge and the part near the elbow near the body of the guitar but today i've tried to lift the elbow off and put only the wrist on the bridge and this seems help me picking more naturally... what do you think? what about you?

I never think about it. smile.gif In my opinion over-analyzing one's technique takes your focus from creating music to all the wrong things. Just pick however it seems comfortable or natural, and train, train, train... it'll come naturally as you do it.

I'm sure there are loads of correct ways of doing it, and pain and a complete lack of development over long periods of time despite practice are things saying you are doing it wrong.
