Hey mate - there are a few things you need to know here
1) You can achieve these tunings with a 6 string in the following ways: - get a baritone guitar which is basically a 6 string that can be tuned low due to the neck length. I got mine in drop G with 14-70 strings - if you want to use a regular 6 string, it would be good to use a fixed bridge one and the neck must be set for such gauges - better take it to a luthier and ask about it. I used 11-56 on a normal guitar, for drop Bb and it stayed great! The general idea is that you need to downtune your guitar a lot... 2) You can drop an eye over my series called Metal Metrics, in which you will find a lot of rhythm and lead elements which are common in the 'djent' genre, which this song fits into: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/search/me...1/10/n/n/n/t/f/ Let me know if there are any other thoughts you might have Cosmin |

I had never really heard Intervals, but I listened to this last night before going to bed, and I must say... it's right up my alley! Love it!

I'll fool with this weekend! Hey Cosmin are you going to chew my balls off if I do your Vivaldi piece in a different tuning? |

So I put the bigger strings on and am quite surprised how full they sound, This is not in style of Intervals but just a quick recording with a looper with the bigger strings. This is right from the Traynor amp with my iphone recording.
Besides them sounding really nice, they were not much harder to play. Maybe bending like a madman or playing bar chords all night would get painful. https://soundcloud.com/jim-seekford-music/b-tone-test-12s |

I'm a big Tesseract fan. I guess they're in the same genre as well. I love TesseracT too! Concealing Fate was what got me into them, now I have this on repeat: |
