I used it for a while makes the strings feel very smooth. But it seems to take some of the brightness.

I have one here but never used it I'll try tonight
I usually change strings every month but if on a tour then every single day. I never risk when I am about to play on stage. Also I have agressive vibrato. Even if I don't change them they lose sustain and sometimes hard to stay in tune. -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

I used fast fret until I discovered elixir strings. It made regular stringslast a bit longer. No use for it anymore

I sometimes use fastfret to keep the strings clean and brighter, it works pretty good. But I change strings every 3/4 days.

If I just want something to clean my guitar with, should I go for FastFret or for Fender Guitarpolish? Kaz Depends totally which parts of the guitar you want to clean? FastFret in my opinion is not for 'cleaning' the strings and the Guitarpolish is mostly to let the body shine again. -------------------- "Don't practice until you get it right.
