Hey there! I'm writting this topic to give a bit of press to these bands that realised new album this year and that for me are underated.

Buckcherry edited "Black Butterfly" yesterday.
http://www.myspace.com/buckcherry

Black Stone Cherry edited "Folklore And Superstition" some months ago.
http://www.myspace.com/blackstonecherry

For me it's cool to still have good rock and roll bands active. smile.gif

Yes it's very good to have good rock and roll bands still active smile.gif

I have both these albums, only got Buckcherry's album on Monday but it's a great album. I had based my opinion of Buckcherry on the "Crazy B" song which I just don't like, but thanks to iTunes I've found the error of my ways and really like these guys, I certainly misjudged them. Folklore and Superstition I've had since it's release last month and it is also great. From the first song Blind Man it opens with a bang and keeps going.

Great recommendations Gabriel and I second them smile.gif

smile.gif Well you've introduced me to some great music too Gabe so I'm happy to return the favor. Been listening to the Black Butterfly a fair bit the last couple of days and I like it more and more with each listen. Two other bands I've been listening to recently are

Jet Black Stare

Submersed

Only found these bands a couple of days ago so they are still pretty new to me but I really like what I hear so far.

cough... cough... Black Stone Cherry style lesson... cough... cough. wink.gif

Indeed ^^
And thanks to GMC, you can find two bands a day tongue.gif

Thanks for sharing these =)

I read about Black Stone Cherry in a magazine, some days ago. They have taken over as the best "Southern Rock" band, after Lynyrd Skynyrd ^^

yes, it's true that GMC comunity is an excelent place to find new cool bands. I have discovered many great bands here. You know... the bands to Argentina arrive with some delay... If we talk about new "Popular" or maybe "Supported by a big label" bands... First I discover them and 2 or 3 monts ago, all my friends discovers them at MTV or any rock magazine... so I'm the most informed about music news here. smile.gif

GMC is a great source of info for music and many other things as well. I've been introduced to so many great artists and guitar players since I've joined here and am listening to things I never would have before like Children of Bodom and Opeth smile.gif GMC has certainly opened my ears.

I spelled my username wrong...I didn't even think that was possible!

Look at the topic for my guitar...
Finished Guitar Build

Gear:
Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!)
Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :)
Line 6 spider amp (not actually used for anything, just acts as a speaker)
Digitech Gnx2 (kind of old, but cheap, and sounds amazing!)
