Hey guys! I'm all the time looking for new music, checking new bands and albums that I've never listened too... but it sometimes happens that I also rediscover an album that I liked but that I had forgotten... yesterday I heard again this album and I think that it's a killer and very underrated album by Skid Row...

in those years that Pantera were the kings, i think that Skid Row recorded this album influenced by that 90's metal sound...

Have you rediscovered any album lately??

Probably not the cup of tea for many, but i am listening in a daily basis to Seven Idiots by World end's Girlfriend. I used to have it here in the dark corner of the library, but now i love it!

Here's a 2 tracks from it.

It starts really slow, but after 3:25 it gets pretty pretty epic. Kind reminds those old psychedelic cartoons tongue.gif

Here's another one with a pretty videoclip.

I went back to my Americana roots a few weeks ago, and remembered all the music and bands I love from that genre

Checking the band now, thanks for sharing! The first minutes sound very fresh... I like the combination of electric guitar and elektro sounds..

Not the Album but the genre as a whole. Sometimes it's nice to put technique to one side and focus on the songwriting.

I have never been into Badlands music, they sound very classic, I can hear some connection with Rainbow in their music... Am I right?

Could be, I can definately hear some Rainbow in their music too, The singer Ray Gillan did a short stint with Black Sabbath as did Eric Singer the drummer, and we all know about Jake E. Lee smile.gif

Ahhh now I understand why this band sounds taht good! I didn't know that Jake was the founder.. or maybe I do but I didn't remember it!

Some info for the distracted people like me! tongue.gif

Badlands was a short-lived rock band founded by former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee and former Black Sabbath members Ray Gillen and Eric Singer. Badlands also featured bassist Greg Chaisson. After the first Badlands album, Eric Singer was replaced by Jeff Martin. The group lasted from 1988 to 1993 and released two albums, Badlands (1989) and Voodoo Highway (1991) before Gillen left and was replaced by singer John West from New York. Ray's death in 1993 effectively ended any hopes of re-uniting the project. The album Dusk (a demo recorded in 1992 - 1993) was posthumously released in 1998.
