The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I decided to try another one, which I think is a bit better. I'm not sure what the procedure is for submitting a retake. It didn't want to seem to let me do it. This is the beginner solo not the intermediate one. I tried a new recording method for this one and I had some issues syncing the video with the backing track and with the guitar. I did my best but I know it isnt perfect here. If anyone has some suggestions for recording video and audio that would be fantastic! I'm using a macbook pro and a PODxt. You've got the licks down fine, and your bending and vibrato has plenty of attitude and shows signs of promise ! When I'm having trouble with learning something, I break it down into different points of focus and work on each one seperately before bringing it together. Your vibrato, bending, picking etc is all fine so forget them for a bit and focus only on the pacing of the licks over the beat. Play along with Marcus's take so you can hear exactly when you are in and when you are out. Try to tap your foot, and work very slowly within each bar. You should understand that each note you play has a place within a bar. When practicing with a click you should remember where those notes are, just as you remembered where you need to fret them. Keep working on it.
