* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

Hey mate smile.gif It is no nonsense as long as you explore a lot of possibilities and discover new things wink.gif be curious, by all means!

Slowly getting there smile.gif Indeed, pay attention to bends and vibrato so that you can make them as smooth and expressive as possible. Have you noticed how your learning curve is smaller now? You learn faster but it's time to focus on making things express feelings when you play! smile.gif

I see.
And I know,it's because of you.
To work hard is not enough.
You can spend a lifetime doing something but not to get the aim.
I see many people who plays the guitar but when I see your play on youtube, on GMC -it's different.
It's very nice.
I am very proud that I know you.

Hey mate!

Slow and steady as I said wink.gif As you did with the legato lesson, you will conquer these two as well! You are on the good path, but they need more time for the articulation techniques to settle in wink.gif

Take it easy and enjoy the ride, ok?

Hi, Cosmin.
It was a very difficult week for me but I did not stop working)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/23fylhrx7ugb40j/B...%2C%2021.03.m4a

I continued experiments with recording two tracks.
May be it is not useful?

Hey mate!

I think this routine helped a lot! How about a REC take on this lesson? biggrin.gif After that I think we can get on with something new, maybe in the same direction, so that you may further develop your phrasing skills smile.gif

What say you?

Hey mate! Looks like you nailed the technical aspects of this lesson quite nicely, but it sounds like the guitar is out of tune sad.gif Uh... oh... have you checked it before recording?

The Skillet tune sounds very good, but your riff tone seems a bit fuzzy - what did you use to achieve it? Otherwise, the playing is great on this one!

Hi,Cosmin.
I am very glad that you like it.

About lesson:
Here I am..)).
I saw that something wrong and did not think about my guitar tuning.)
Sorry...
I am in Moscow this week.
I will take a guitar from a friend om mine because in Moscow I took my Jackson.
But there are 10-52 strings on it for drop C tuning.
So I will record a new video and test PRS Tremonti ))) I hope.

About Skillet.
I recorded it by Diezel Hagen 3d chanel and Two notes live simulating Diezel cab and 87 condensator mic.
Hagen :
Gain -10 o'clock
Bass 1 o'clock
Mid 9 o'clock
Treble 3 o'clock

Depth 12 o'clock
Presens 5 o'clock

I think this is a time for the beginning to understad something about a soud tuning and effects))

Unfortunately,it is too difficult to find approptiate backtrack.
It would be much better to play with someone.
But )) today I can't find somebody who likes music like me)))

Hey again mate, well let me know when you are back wink.gif Please tune up and watch out for the pitches, ok?

In respect to tone - I think that you should try out a few settings in a small riff:

- choose a simple riff that you can play even when you are asleep biggrin.gif
- it has to have open strings, palm muting and some single notes
- record it with different tone settings of the amp until you get close to the tone in the original recording wink.gif

Deal?

Cosmin

Hey mate! I love the tone! Is this the Tremonti? Haha! It looks like you got your hands on it before I did! biggrin.gif

I would only say that you need to watch out on the bends - such as the one around 0:30 and don't vibrate immediately after picking a note wink.gif Let it breathe a bit, just a bit! Otherwise, everything seems clean and nice! Try to get all the pitches perfect when bending - that should be a primary focus right now smile.gif

Yes, it's true.

In Moscow I have a friend who sells guitars and he agreed to let me try Tremonti)))
He helped me to buy my McCarty and sold my Horizon which I loved very much but McCarty is too expensive and I should be sell my ESP.

I could not suppose that PRS is so great!!!!
I need right hand to take this work of Art.

Well, about bends.
Do I right way?

https://www.dropbox.com/s/lvgkvjn3gm08rvh/B...%2C%2022.40.m4a

I will continue working on bends.
It is a very important thing I understood it.
It makes a sound nice and it makes guitar to guitar.)))

About the PRSs biggrin.gif I will get the Tremonti for free - it's official, as they told me yesterday, so on Monday most probably I will get the new guitar! Yayy!
