If i do the alternate picking excersize you gave me do i have to record it and send it to you?

And what is the best practice for the speed part in the middle.?

Hi Tim! I think that it's a good decision to start this thread! Feel free to post here your videos playing the exercises that I gave you or any other thing that you are working on, and I'll give you feedback.

Regarding the tempo, you should go for a tempo in which you are not 100% comfortable but that you can pick each note with a good intensity and at the correct timing.

Also be sure to check some AP lessons at GMC to notice how the movement of the right hand should be to be effective for playing fast licks.
