Funk Rhythms Workout, Lesson By Diego Budicin |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Tim,
Great to see that you keep on working hard on this one. I think that the overall sounds good, but that if I listen with close attention, I notice many small timing issues and lack of groove. I think that your hands are not comfortable yet with this tempo and that if would be better if you practice this one at a slower tempo, focusing on making each note sound clear, and each rhythm pattern with the correct groove and dynamics. In this type of rhythm tunes, details are what make them sound professional, and what makes it enjoyable and this details are based mostly on groove, dynamics, and other expressing tools like vibrato, slides, muting. So my recommendation is to slow down and work on small blocks focusing on details. Keep on rocking! -------------------- My lessons
