I was wondering how to replicate Dimebag Darrell's Shredding. From all the videos I've watched, I don't see him sweep that must. It seems to be all alternate picking to me. So how can I practice those fast runs he does? Certain exercice I can do?

And is his picking style a factor? I mean, Marty Friedman picks in a different way than most guitar players so maybe Dime did too...

For an example of the runs I'm talking about listen to the last solo in the song Shattered or Cemetary Gates (maybe even Psycho Holiday).

Thanks
