MTP APPLICATION student: Can "enforcer" Karakuzulu I.Introduction Hi there, This is my application fot the MTP program, below you'll find one introduction movie, one collaboration movie, one execice movie, one tutoring exemple (SI lesson) links to help and collaboration posts. This is my introduction movie, please dont mind my english pronounciation Well on the written part, I am 26, I live in Istanbul, Turkey. Since my childhood I was intrested in music, I started playing keyboards at 9, then at 17 I swiched to electric guitar. From the beginning I am self tought, I mainly use internet as a source of knowledge for guitar playing. And as you can feel it GMC is the Holy Grail for me. And I try to take whatever I can since the end of september, and give in return good advices, some songs and I am willing to do more. Music always was a passion for me, sometimes in a weird way to others, as when I listen or make music, I feel a very strong emotionnal trade, stronger than those around me. I generally try to play around 5-6 hours in a day, as long as I can, I periodically record and listen to my own songs, I got a great songwise contribution to the album in recording of my band in Turkey. I can say my thrust in this is creativity. Actually I think I wish to be a student instructor more than I want to be a student myself because I love helping people, without misleading them, and I am never afraid of saying "I don't know". Make no mistake, I am well aware of my mistakes and my many problems I need to eradicate in guitar playing, and I will be more than honored to be instructed by Muris himself, but I think to be a student instructor is why I joined the competition. II. Problems and Achievements a. Muris' Extreme Neoclassic at 100bpm. I believe this is a great way to show my problems, by trying to play an Insane difficulty level exercice. It's still at 2/3 speed compared to Muris' original, but believe me guys, I am trying my best. I've been working on this for a little more than a month. You can see one of my many problems are still descending sweeps (notewise) at high speeds and some unmuted strings. b. Xmas Rock Collaboration Video Here, I got this famous bending problem of mine, especially on the bends after speedy runs, but I work hard to eradicate this problem. III. Helping fellow GMCers.... a. Links Here you'll find some links I think I have been helpfull... https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=305438 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=308590 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=308543 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=303295 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=303146 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=303282 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=303108 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=298348 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=302512 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=300454 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=290217 b. S.I Lesson My S.I Lesson: My Approach To Instrumental Song Writing For Beginners In 14 steps. IV. Activity and Collaboration Participation a. My original instrumental song trial: Sailing on a bright sky b. Collaborations: Funky Rock Collaboration Entry Pure Steel Metal Collaboration Entry Diminished Bossa Collaboration Entry Classic Rock Collaboration Entry Crazy Blues Collaboration Entry Funky Jazz Collaboration Final Mix and Comments Old School Rock Collaboration Final Mix and Comments 80's Rock Collaboration Final Mix and Comments MJ Collaboration Final Mix and Comments Dark Light Collaboration Final Mix and Comments I didn't had the opportunity to record another exercice video, but I think this is final. Hi everyone.
This is my application for the mentor programme. I just made an SI series lesson yesterday, that is to be put on the forum shortly. It will state my technical abilities. Collaboration wise, I have this, sorted by new to old. Joe_2.mpg ( 4.62MB ) Number of downloads: 213 crazy_blues.mpg ( 4.34MB ) Number of downloads: 205 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...t=0&start=0 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...t=0&start=0 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...21458&st=20 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...t=0&start=0 https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...60&start=60 (sorry about this being so dark) Postwise, I don't think I have to say anything. I mostly reply in every single theory, gear and upload question. If you don't accept this answer then I will edit my post and get links. I don't want to post an achievement video, as my tongue doesn't like to speak english very well Again, if not accepted I'll do it. For now, I'll write: I've been playing for 4 years this december. I think I have pretty good theory and technical skill, but I find it that I lack aural skill aswell as the ability to be creative in longterm improvisation, and also writing songs. I am useless with drums, hence all the uploads with others' backingtracks. I really want to learn that. I also want to get more creative with chords, and learn more about harmonies. Harmony wise I always go with what I think sounds good, and that coheres with my theory knowledge. I would also like to learn about bass harmonies. I have only slight and very primitive ideas of how to get a bassline running. As a mentor to others, I think I would do really well. I love teaching, and I think I meet the criterias to teach in a proper manner. I have a good vibrato, decent technique and good theory knowledge. With this, I hope to be pointed out as a student of Muris the Great. Thanks alot, and best regards Edit: I would also like to express my gratefulness to Muris for being up for this. Every single time I posted something to Muris, he gave me honest critique and great feedback on how to improve, and I feel that it helped me every time also. I hope I am chosen!
