I'm building mine right now... I hope.
 -------------------- I spelled my username wrong...I didn't even think that was possible!
Look at the topic for my guitar... Finished Guitar Build Gear: Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!) Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :) Line 6 spider amp (not actually used for anything, just acts as a speaker) Digitech Gnx2 (kind of old, but cheap, and sounds amazing!) |

Some kind of custom built PRS with a piezo pickup, 24 frets and no whammy bar would be my dream guitar.

Michael Romeo's signature Caparison.. the headstock is just too beautifull..
and having that guitar.. I would maybe start playing like him.. or.. more probably not.. but just the feeeeeling  But i wouldt mind some custom PRS, Ibanez Jem (especially that psychyedylic one:P) or some b.a. I would like Fender to build me a 7 string strat. But it's never gonna happen.

I've changed my mind!
Yes, I have now found the guitar of my dreams.. I even had the pleasure to try one the other day, and what amazed me was that even though I tried various guitars like Tom Anderson, Suhr and Tyler, this particular guitar was noticably better imo. The neck was great, the overall playability was almost scary, the sound (coming from a Egnater Rebel 20) was sweet and the look of the guitar is not of this world! Everything about this guitar is just... Perfect! NIK HUBER REDWOOD ^^ Check out the link, that's the actual guitar I tried  It costs about 6-7000$  but one day I need to get one The pickup rings are cut from ebony, as are the tuning pegs/wings (and fretboard of course). It's semi-hollow, one piece exceptional curl redwood top. This is worthy of being the guitar of my dreams! Nik Huber Homepage Check it out, everything he makes look fantastic. Metored by Paul Reed Smith himself in the eraly days and was head of repairs in Europe on PRS guitars a while ago. He knows his stuff

In my opinion there is no need for such guitars unless you are a virtuoso, or somewhere near Like the depth of color on that.Artemus, you made it by yourself? Or it`s custom made for you? |
