Being the most tech savvy person in our worship band, I decided to get my copy of omnisphere working on my laptop for our keyboard player to use on a Sunday.

I also found that the Hillsong keyboard player has made his Omnisphere patches available as a collection, Which is a huge help and time saver.

But then I started looking into other churches keyboard rigs, they also seem to run all the loops any backing tracks, the click track and synth patch change stuff all by set list.

The mind boggles

Here's the Hillsong guy going through some of his set up

Unfortunately not a lot of key users but I remember I had my "day of joy" when I launched pack of key plug-ins included with new Cubase". I have to admit it really surprised me with it's versatility smile.gif

Interesting results on the video! What other sounds can you get from Omnisphere? Is it only keyboards?

Omnisphere is the Big Daddy of Software Synths

It has so much, and you probably hear it in every film you watch.

As well as the synth and keyboard stuff it has guitar samples, strings, choirs world trad instruments which are just the jumping off point of the sounds.

It tempts me to move to synth from guitar it's that fun
