Pentatonic Licks - Beginner, Lesson By Muris Varajic |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! Your take is good but you need to adjust some things to make your take sound like a professional. These details are, timing, there are many moments where the licks are not 100% tight, most of the times your are a bit after the beat. Bending, many of your bends aren't reaching the correct pitch, they are close but not perfect. And finally, there are some low frequencies in you tone that are making it less clear, try lowering some frequencies around 100 and 300, and maybe boosting somewhere around 3000 and 5000 hz. Delay could be adding more to this problem, so if you can equalize the effect try also lowering the bass frequencies.
