I am very interrested in seeing what jobs people have in here.
Office during daylight and playing heavy metal
at night ?

In 3 weeks I have my exam in High School Economics and Society.( that's why I am not too active in here wink.gif )
My job is at a chipsbaker ( I think you call it like that smile.gif ) before this I worked at a Musicstore that broke down
and before that I worked at a Cinema and my first job was at Mcdonalds.

I am very interested in your jobs/educations :'D

greetings from where it is raining all day long.

Marc

I do web design, graphics, digital fx, that sort of thing. Fun stuff really smile.gif I posted my demo reel on youtube a bit back with some work from Cartoon Network and others.

Here is a spec commercial I worked on recently. It was a nike pitch ad. I did one shot in it as it was broken up among lots of artists. I did the shot where the guy and girl are flying over water and he crashes.

Well shucks thanks! smile.gif We used MAYA @ Turner Studios where I worked. It's loads of fun smile.gif I like AFTER EFFECTS too but it's more of a compositing/layering tool than a 3D creation tool. Although the new version of After Effects works in 3D space and will allow you to import 3D animation data from MAYA! smile.gif GAME SCHOOL is the new FILM SCHOOL they say where creative folks go to get sharp! Enjoy it! And learn some code base! C++, Visual Basic, just pick a spiff one wink.gif

The secret to getting goot with animation/fx/guitar, pretty much anything, is simple. PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE! smile.gif If you are willing to exclude certain things from your life, so that you can focus on getting really good at any given thing, you'll notice you can make better progress than those around you. Of course there is a price to be paid. I'm not married, or even dating just now as I still spend wads of free time writing/composing/practicing instead of going out and such. I need to add some of that back in smile.gif I tend to focus too much and for too long actually which can have it's own drawbacks believe it or not. So strive for balance if at all possible smile.gif
