If its the switch just give it a blast with WD40 or any other penetrating oil This is what Id id on my Washburn when it gave me weird cracking and such when moving any volume/tone/switch on it. I ran down to the local electronic store picked up DeoxIT. Took the caps off the pots and dripped some of it on there let it set and then came back did a quick spray and turned them back and forth/flick to get it to break up dirt. But I agree with a lot of people here, if its an older guitar or something you don't want to take a chance with anything happening. Take it to a tech have him rewire it all up get new pots/switch also. That way all your guts are new and will have the best connection possible. If there is an issue after that maybe look into replacing pickups. -------------------- Guitars:
