Clive Owen as the unpolished hero and Paul Giamatti as the crook. Both does good work in their roles, Paul is excellent as a villain.
Not much more to say, hilarious bad pun jokes by Clive Owen (meaning they are so bad they're good) and entertaining violence from start to end. There's not one single moment that's slow. And of course all of this is way exaggerated, great humor. This film has a format where this exaggerated shooting works, instead of sighing and saying - man that's just impossible of Bruce Willis to shoot that way, this is just too much - it's fun and has plenty of humor. A different movie for sure. laugh.gif

Though, a good idea is to stick by the age rating on this one.

Great fun! biggrin.gif

Um am I the only one that thought this movie was so over the top it was horrible. Just like the new Indian Jones, I thought it sucked it was so over the top. I mean seriously the guy is shooting people while having sex (moderate if needed, sorry), and then the part when he is falling through the sky shooting people while everyone misses him, and then when the bullets finally are going to hit him, he just grabs someones body out of nowhere and blocks them. I rate this movie 2/10, 2 only because Monica Bellucci is so hot, besides that it was unbelievably horrendous IMO.

You can't take this movie serious, it's so damn over the top that you just have to laugh.

I guess looking at it that way it was OK, but I don't think it should be advertised as "action/thriller" it should be "100% comedy".

lol Yes!! it's just so ridcilous. That parashoot scene is like the Bond flick when Jaws is chasing him through the sky while free falling, but here it's a hundered times more unbelivable. laugh.gif
I had a good laugh after he landed and started to walk and his enemies layed scattered everywhere, it looked like a battlefield on the ground after that parashoot ride laugh.gif
