Boss Gt-8 Multi Effects?, What should i do. Options

Hey guys. I am looking into picking up a multi effects pedal, ive been playing with a few guys writing some progressive stuff and i cannot use my krank because they want me playing with phaser So ive busted out the line 6 and im finding it very hard to change effects because i don't have a line 6 changer.. Therefore i believe its time to upgrade to get a Multi Effects pedal and start useing it for all my effects even on my krank. I was looking at the Boss Gt-8 but i believe it is overkill I also saw the Boss Blue and Boss Red i believe they are called.. im not sure what the official name.. Or the Boss Gt-6.. Im not too knowledgeable on this stuff so any help and ideas would be appreciated
