Sorry for posting 2 licks today. Posted one last night in my neck of the woods and the other one in the morning. Didn't realize I posted 2 times in the same day. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Monte

Don't worry about it smile.gif. At this stage it isn't really relevant, when everybody starts to submit loads of licks, it just prevents me from being online 24/7 selecting licks tongue.gif

I won't kill you if it's 23:50 for the 2nd one tongue.gif. That rule is only there in order to prevent any overflow of licks (assuming that everybody is submitted theirs all the time smile.gif, but at this stage it's not that relevant.

Nevertheless, in general I would like to stick to certain rules to keep it clear for everybody smile.gif

Of course. It was merely an attempt to get this thing going more than right now (not saying it ain't going great - but people seem a bit hungover from New Years Eve! laugh.gif )

Ok, here´s my entry. smile.gif

Pentatonic Tapping Lick

Attached File  si_lick___page_1.bmp ( 3.38MB ) Number of downloads: 224

This lick uses the simple A Pentatonic scale (except from the B on the low E string). You can use it as an ending lick of your solo in a jam, for instance.

(Is this form ok? Or should I explain more what I´m playing?)

Nice Tolek!! Now you have 24 hrs to come up with another one to post!! laugh.gif laugh.gif

Ok, I'm sticking with the tapping for this month. Forces me to try and keep coming up with different tapping licks. laugh.gif laugh.gif

THE LICK:

This is another tapping lick based on F# minor and C# minor pentatonic. Kind of an EVH thing going on with the tapped slides and then an Andy James type string skipping ascending run at the end. Have fun and let me know if you have any questions.
