Street Performing, Tips???

Just had a few questions and was wondering if anyone could answer them. 1. Should I be worried about my stuff getting stolen? (guitar, spare amp, microphone, guitar case with cash) 2. What are some good songs everyone would like to hear? 3. I've read that busking doesn't require a license in U.S. because of freedom of speech, anyone sure? 4. All I have is a gibson, so should i borrow my mates epiphone? 5.
