wou man! This is so good! You learned the lesson perfectly and I think that with some more days of practice you'll make it sound as the original! The rhythmic section sounds excellent and you don't have any type of timing issue or groove thing to improve. The solo section is also really good and I can note that you are trying to emulate Jonathan's vibrato. I even think that you really achieved ii on some of them. This month has been very effective to improve you bending and vibrato!
I just can say that you could continue playing this solo to keep on practicing vibrato and bending. Great job! I'll be back with the 4th assignment. -------------------- My lessons

Assignment 4:
Well man! We are in our last assignment! In this assignment my idea is to share with you some of my favorite licks from my favorite guitar players. This licks are good to train your technique and also to be incorporated in your improvisations. The lick 1 is a "Ritchie Kotzen" and "Greg Howe" style pattern that is very cool to know because it always work great when you are improvising. I wrote it in played in the 6 strings but it can be played in a shorter way. The second lick is a "Paul Gilbert" style arpeggio that is a cool lick to train your sweep but it also a nice idea to create your own "classical" oriented etudes of solo. The third lick is an "Yngwie Malmsteen" style lick that I took from his amazing song called "Far beyond the sun". It starts with a fast harmonic minor descendant lick and then I play diminished arpeggios with sweep picking technique. The last licks is a "Steve Morse" and "John Petrucci" style alternate picking lick over A blues scale. I love this lick! Well that's all! The tempo required for this ones is the faster than you can since these players are killer shredders. I hope that you enjoy it! Great. I'll learn these and have a video up on Saturday. I'm still getting that fast lick in the SRV lesson up to speed. Once I can get that, I'll record and post that one, too. Ok, I'll wait for the videos! -------------------- My lessons

Apologies for being so late with this. Got the flu (or food poisoning) on the first weekend I was going to try to record this, then my office got broken into and all the computers and 2 of my guitars were stolen. I've been working hard trying to get the office back up and running and playing/recording hasn't been my top priority. I'll get the weekly lesson recorded and posted tomorrow. Here's my monthly lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=34125

Hey man! I missed your last assignment! I think that at this time you can make this licks fly! Well, the licks sound perfect at this tempo. Now it's time to increase the speed of this licks to allow you use them in your own improvisations,, mainly the first and the last one. I really use those licks because are relatively easy and effective. So keep on working hard!
I commented your REC take in the grading thread. Ok Purple hayes. This has been our last month for the MTP. I want to say thank you for completing every assignment and for taking this MTP seriously. It has been a pleasure for me to share this months with you. You have interesting skills and I think that you'll became a very good player if you continue with this disciplined work.
