Downtuning A Strat Half A Step |

Hi all,
When I have to downtune a guitar half a step I usually do it with my SG, being fixed bridge. It's easy & fast to go back & forth between standard & downtuned with that one. But lately I've been thinking about doing that with my strat too. That strat is proffesionally setup for standard tuning though. Would downtuning the strat half a step work fine without any further intonation/set-up? Or would I have to set-up the trem. bridge every time I change between tunings? Maybe your tremolo will go more to the right (closer to the body). In that case turn the back of your guitar and screw those 3 springs a bit more to move the tremolo back. This is only the case if your tremolo goes in both directions.

It's fine:P I got 5 springs, in it because I use 0.11's and normal and half step down tuning... it's all fine!

Yes it's floating, so I guess it will go down, but hopefully not too much!
