100k Multi Track Recorder For Under 4k

I saw this on ebay. Back in the day, this unit would cost about $100,000. Now it's under 4k. It's amazing how things change over time. This piece is a bit of a dinosaur and "vintage" at this point. But It would be cool to have something like this in a home studio imho. I'd love to have a big console and this recorder. I realize I don't need it of course, but I think it would be cool smile.gif

What do you guys think?

Looks like UA has beaten us to the punch smile.gif A buddy of mine had a UA interface and LOVED those tape plugins for his mastering chain. Wads of folks in studios were running out of pro tools in to a two track deck to get that "golden" sound and UA did a great job of replicating it. So back "in the box" we go!
