Here are some more i like to use.

Open Cmin7: low-high - C-G-C-G-Bb-Eb
Open Cmaj7: low-high - C-G-C-G-B-E

(Theory experts make sure i have the notes right)

I like to use these for prog metal type stuff, fair amount of thick distortion, a little delay, and some reverb smile.gif

My Les Paul is tuned a half step down, since the vocalist in my band has pretty dark voice, so it suits him better, and my metal guitar (Schecter Damien-6) is tuned in Drop D to get darker sound too.

I just use Dropped D or Standard. I haven't explored the other awesome tunings out there cause I've been to lazy to adjust the floating bridge on my Ibanez smile.gif

I've current got a guitar in C (In Flames), one in D (not drop d) for Strung Out, and 2 in E for everything else smile.gif
Gotta say tho, I used to hate C, but it's quite good biggrin.gif

I tend to usually tune a half step down, coz I generally like the sound and feel (playing wise).
