Any ideas on how I should treat a rosewood fretboard? Kris - what do you use on your parker guitar to make it look so nice?

I always wondered how you got those dots on your guitar

I use Teak Oil on my Fretboard - I put a fair dollop on a cloth and rub it in when I change strings.
I think the secret is not to put too much oil in the wood or the wood can swell slightly lifting the frets - so by all means rub a little in but dont let too much soak into the wood. I always love the feel of new strings against a freshly oiled fretboard - I think guitars play much better when slightly slippery. -------------------- its not easy

Look in your kitchen! Some virgin olive oil works good on rosewood fretboards. No joke!
