Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Welcome back Carmine !

Overall your take is good, your rhythm playing is generally all ok. You went out of time a couple of times, noticeably at 0:09. You just need to spend more time practising along with a beat and you'll get tighter at this aspect of guitar playing. Rhythm is everything so that is my advice.. play along with more backing tracks and songs smile.gif

Hey and wellcome to the REC zone! smile.gif As guys mentiond - overall take is nice but need some improvements - especially the timming. To be honest I had to check the original lesson for the right hand movements and I would do it a bit different than Bear did - I would focus on constant down-up movement that we can see most og acoustic player do. It's much more easy to keep good timming. But it's a Bear lesson so Do it they way You feel it's better for You or keep the original movements from the lesson. I think Your timming issue is more a matter of focusing a lot than just a practice smile.gif

Howdy Carmine!

Welcome back to the REC zone smile.gif As the guys pointed out the main thing here - timing being it, I will only tell you to focus on practicing slow and understanding where each beat comes. Also, you can record against the original take and notice your mistakes smile.gif

Keep rocking!

Cosmin

Hi mate, as the other instructors said, you are getting close with this one. There are still some timing issues here and there but you will be able to play it perfectly after some more time of practice. I recommend you to practice this one playing over the instructor and pay attention to be tight with him and the backing. Keep on the good job!
