I do approve of Metal being the substrate of just about any narrative of course. Speaking of which, this is another "coming of age" sort o pic, also with Metal as it's substrate but done in a bit more art house vibe. I saw it at a screening during the Atlanta Film Festival and thought it was really good. The music in his films was always a highlight for me. Such wonderful films as The Breakfast Club, Weird Science, Pretty in Pink, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Some Kind of Wonderful are still enjoyable movies imho. I fear I've just gotten older and grumpier and less a fan of Modern pop so many modern coming of age films fall flat or me. This one looks way more insteresting than anty i've seen in years.
