I think it's because of your job a bit because you'll be getting up and working when it's dark and going home and sleeping no doubt and getting up when it's dark. That can be depressing. Do you see much daylight with your job? Unless it's different where you are from. My mum's boyfriend is a mail man and he works from 4AM to Midday.

I work from ehr 6 AM till 1-2 PM. So it's not really that bad, and I do see a lot of daylight.

But however, many of my friends work at different hours etc. So even though I get home early, there's no one to talk to - and people at the internet forums are usually only writing later on. laugh.gif

How pathetic I am.

As said, I think I just need to snap out of it.

Besides, at said earlier on, I might be getting a cat to keep me company... rolleyes.gif

Just dance round the house singing. But I do think seriously you should look for a 9 - 5 job. Dull as anything but most of your friends would probably be free when you are then smile.gif

Yeah, exactly. It probably won't pay as well, but I'll look into it.

On another note - a lot of my friends have night time jobs actually tongue.gif

I'm a creature of the night but work in the day. I look like Count Dracula at work in this office biggrin.gif

Get a job in an office doing accounting or something. Pays great and you can usually have flexi time so you can work pretty much when you want smile.gif

Yeah! I wouldn't mind that. Besides, as stated earlier, I too am a creature of the night tongue.gif So getting up at 5.30 and having to go to bed early really isn't my cup of tea.

That's probably why you have trouble sleeping. I go to bed about 2am and fall to sleep instantly. If I even tried to get to sleep before midnight I wouldn't be able to. You just need to check your options. Being a mail man is a good job money wise and pension wise in the UK but it's tiring work and it's at poor hours. Look into office work as you get paid a fair amount there and it is fairly easy. smile.gif

You just need to sort out things like that. I'd imagine it isn't just your apartment and being on your own that is getting you down. My job gets me down and I'm trying to leave it but sort out a job before you quit current one otherwise that is really a bad move.

Yeah. I go to bed at 10 or 11 PM, where as I used to go to bed at 2 or 3AM.

Money wise and pension wise working as a mail man is great here too.

The only problem working in an office is that they often want you to have some relevant "office education", which I don't have. But maybe I should just send some applications anyways. Often they state that people with relevant educations will be prioritized, but that it's not a must.

Most of them will interview you and do a little proficiency test to see what your qualities are. In an office they just want hard workers who get the job done. They don't all rely on qualifications. Like say working in an office doing online web orders for a supermarket. Well paid and all you do is check when orders come through and go round the shop collecting the items to send to them. Easy work and you get to do some exercise smile.gif

God "bedring"! smile.gif
