i might say .... muris fast runs tongue.gif
actually the true reason is that i wanted to be in contact with musicians (guitarist) since i've left my ex-band and i found a lot of inspiration while looking at GMC's Videos, so i said: come on, join them dude .. and here i am smile.gif

and it's also really cheap, specially if you convert the price to Euro wink.gif

Hey guys, I just signed up. I think I also spotted GMC from a YouTube link, can't really remember. Let me tell you something, Muris Varijic is world class good. I am an advanced player and can appreciate over-the -top ability when I see it. I am looking forward to learning from Muris and all the other teachers at GMC. I may even submit a lesson myself sometime soon. Great idea for a guitar site. sincerely, FrankW

Exactly the same thing here! I remember Kris' vid on youtube right after reading "guitar jobs", playing Zakk Wylde with the phrase "Stinky Little Youtuber" biggrin.gif It was soooo convincing cool.gif

THIS!

In a beginning phase, I was all about technique, in fact I never bothered learning chords, because I thought they were boooooooring and faaaaaaaaaar to easy for a young, talented, beginning guitar player like myself. In fact, I didn't know a dike 'bout playing guitar tongue.gif

Also I had no need for a guitar teacher, because everything was easy enough as it is, so I just looked up the chords and played the song (or so I thought). Without a backing track or playing to the song of course, because those were always too fast or too slow... tongue.gif

Anyway, I came to tabs, and while looking for them I saw a video of some guy doing an amazing solo! I checked the site the video linked to, and thought holy cow, how come all those guys are so good? I wanna play like them! A month later I subscribed smile.gif

Nowadays I've got better self-reflection, and am able to see weaknesses in my playing, such as when timing, note choice, rhythm or tuning is wrong. Also I've gotten better gear, so complaining it's about the gear is not an option anymore biggrin.gif

Mojo Oro, and tabs to all the lessons on the site I suppose is what brought me here in the first place.
Now of course, after having been here over a year, the most valuable thing this site offers for me is the forum. Being able to interact with instructors and like-minded, and discussing guitar and music in an adult and spam-free way. smile.gif
