Absolutly! GM at my office and have 3 terminals which GMC is a favorite at all 3. Even thinking about putting a guitar in the corner for when the calls slow down I can pick it up and jam! laugh.gif

At my work all the computers I have access too are not connected to the internet. Unless for the database where I search for product codes and order information. And a specific mail program. Anyhow, even if it was internet accessable everyone there would see what you did and all the ladies there are pretty stressed out all the time. Running around like chickens and acting like they get payed for how much they do. (nothing sexistisc about this statement. it´s almost only middle age women at my part at work, that´s all. it´s changed a bit lately though, some younger too.)

But it´s an american company even though it´s in sweden, so I guess the problem comes from there. they´re always trying to cut wages.
And the boss makes 200k dollars.
Always trying to make things more effective. Sometimes it feels that they have like 20 people just for making diagrams on people/plants preformance. And you clock some of the procedures and they messure the effectiveness... haha! They´re like "this week we only had.... x% bla bla bla.. Like we could ever change anything. It´s all in the gear and random luck. Yeah well...
Luckily I can take stress pretty damn good and I do not get very effective by all this. But I think it´s messed up. I think I´m one of the few who dares to take a crap being gone from working over 3 minutes.

So am I getting busted.. no smile.gif

Definitely not!

I work at home most of the time. My nearest boss is 50 miles away, but most of them are over 3000 miles and 3 timezones away tongue.gif

I am always on GMC whenever I have time, and sometimes when I don't - no one will ever know!

The downside is that sometimes I have to travel, and spend days on customer sites with no internet access, then I have to compress my GMC fix into half an hour in the morning and an hour or so in the evening at the hotel ...

I don't really fear getting fired since me and the gang just watched the crossroads guitar battle and I show my co-workers lessons from GMC. I happen to work with 2 other guitar players. smile.gif

I spend several hours a day online. I mostly frequent GMC, and I am a rabid New England Patriots Football fanatic so I have multiple bulletin boards. I am also the company system administrator, and I know my boss cruises porn sites all day long, so he really dosen't say much to me seeing as I could get him busted at any time. LEVERAGE is sweet.
